The Crown of Alfonso of Spain Miniature by Crowns & Regalia
Product Description:
Tragically, the ancient regalia of Spain was lost in a devastating fire in 1734. To replace these treasured artefacts, a new crown and sceptre were created in the 19th century. These regalia were intended for display during accession ceremonies and the opening of the Cortes, the Spanish parliament.
The crown features a simple yet elegant design, comprising a golden circlet adorned with eight gold plates bearing the heraldic emblems of the Kingdom. Four foliage-shaped arches rise from the circlet, culminating in a Globe and Cross at the pinnacle.
Revel in the beauty of this miniature replica, meticulously cast in fine English pewter, delicately plated, and enhanced with exquisite bohemian crystals. Encased within a presentation box, it captures the essence of Spain's regal heritage.
